Community

The population of the Shire of Kulin is just over 800 with less than half of those living in the town of Kulin. The Kulin community has a strong history of volunteering and working together to ensure Kulin continues to be a great place to live and a town and region we can be proud of.

Agriculture

On your way to the Kulin Bush Races, you’ll drive past endless paddocks of sheep, wheat, barley, canola, lupins and oats. These are grown by the many farmers of the district who, like all farmers, have a strong passion for feeding and clothing the country. Many Kulin farmers and their families are volunteers at the races and love sharing what they do with our visitors.
