2020 will certainly be a year that will not be forgotten around the world in a hurry! Like many events across the world, Kulin Bush Races was cancelled early due to the uncertainty surrounding Covid-19. October didn’t feel the same for the local community without the hustle and bustle of organising the race weekend. So instead of taking a year off, the Kulin Bush Races committee decided to use the opportunity to throw a community party! And what a party it was… complete with live music, laser tag for the kids and speciality food vans. The evening was the perfect way to say thank you to all the wonderful local volunteers for their hard work over the years. The Kulin community don’t do anything by halves though and during the evening they still ran the annual mini tin horse auction and race. Over $1000 was raised with proceeds going to the Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia.
